What We Do
With decades of hands-on experience, H&M Ironworks has built a reputation for outstanding craftsmanship across the full spectrum of metalwork. From intricately hand-forged entrance gates and period Georgian railings to contemporary balconies and large-scale structural steel frameworks, our skilled team brings precision and pride to every project — no matter the scale.
All our works are hand crafted and designed to suit each customer's needs. Whether swing, sliding, automatic or manual, all gates are manufactured with the utmost attention to detail and total safety of manufacture. Gates can also be designed to copy original cast iron designs suitable for automation.
We supply & fit mild steel railings to suit every requirement, from the front entrance to the back garden. We specialise in the production of high security railings or railings requiring a decorative finish. We also supply & fit mesh security fencing for external perimeters that require an aesthetically pleasing finish.
Balconies can be supplied using either mild or stainless steel with glass or hardwood surrounds and steel or hardwood floors. All balconies can be cantilevered from the building or supported by structural steel supports.
H & M Ironworks have a long history in the restoration of Georgian gates & railings and take pride in working to the original style and design. We have long been members of the Georgian Society and are proud of our reputation for the highest quality of workmanship.
